Thank you for taking part in the National Patient Experience Survey!

Almost 14,000 hospital patients participated in the first ever National Patient Experience Survey, confirms HIQA’s Rachel Flynn, who heads up the survey team. This translates as a response rate of 51%.

The National Patient Experience Survey hospital tour

This May, the National Patient Experience Survey team has been touring the country, visiting all 40 public hospitals participating in the survey. The team has been meeting staff, volunteers and patients and answering any questions they have about the survey, which runs until the end of May.

Ireland’s first ever national survey of patients’ experience in hospital launched

The first ever National Patient Experience Survey was launched on the 5th of April 2017 by Minister for Health Simon Harris TD at the Mater Misericordiae Hospital.
